Questions for those who completed GTA V ?

Just wondering if anyone else found this game a bit disappointing.
I can't quite place my finger on it. With IV you actually felt like you was invested in the character Nico and his story and actually playing to achieve something. An obvious story and struggle maybe, but it flowed nicely
With V I didn't seem to get immersed in the game world, or invest in the characters and their stories. Some moments I got involved in the story and then had to wait as that character had no missions. Also the whole swapping characters during a mission wore thin very quickly. Just as you're enjoying a firefight, another character glows and you have to save them.
Multiplayer with friends is a great laugh, the missions and general exploring and messing about is great fun. Technically the game is great and I can appreciate that, but I just didn't enjoy the story that much.

I felt like it could have lasted a little longer, tying up the loose ends proved to be fun but didn't last long enough.
Also there should be a handful of missions for the characters after the story.
Maybe Franklin and Lamar could have had a meet up with Simeon again with Franklin buying the business.
More Trevor Philips enterprises missions would be amazing.
And maybe a few missions for Michael where he does various family bits and bobs.

I found it annoying that you were poor throughout unless you done Lester's missions. If you saved Lester's missions till the end you were poor throughout and then stupidly rich, by which time you have nice cars, clothes, houses, guns etc so its a bit pointless.
The businesses were stupid as well, for example I had $100m in the bank and yet some bint is phoning me up to deliver a truck load of booze? If you had $100m in cash and various cash generating businesses would you really be delivering your own booze? Also would they be that sarcastic to the guy that pays their wages?!?

I didn't buy a single car, or mod one. I just drove what I was given. I only purchased wewpons and armor.
I seemed to die quite a bit as well, or fail a mission. More so then I did in IV. Always from something silly, or right at the end.
Like the last heist. Spoiler alert if you didn't choose option a........
Driving the car into the truck proved troublesome as it slowed you down and then gives you control again. It's suppose to be a big finale, yet it's scripted.

I shouldn't complain it was great, also being that I only really have a couple of hours a week to play it took me a good while to get through it but if I was being picky....
I also thought it was a bit of a pain that you essentially go from broke to $150m (or even more) pretty much after the game has ended, but once you do you don't feel like there's much to spunk your money on, a tank, a jet are great for a 5 min laugh, but actually pretty useless, endless opportunities to mod up cars, but not really enough room to store them.
Oddly, despite their being more options to do stuff after the game has ended, I feel less included to just trek about getting into mischief, there was so much promise, maps of the interior of the mountain, tales of space ships and moon buggies, but none of this stuff seems to be coming to light?

I agree with this 100% some DLC maybe ? It would be good if you could ring older characters in the game (that are still alive) and interact with them too. Lester, Ron, Wade etc. The story line definitely needed to be about 20% longer though. Also there should be a handful of missions for the characters after the story.

I can't think why not - I'm not an online player, but wouldn't mind some DLC such as the GT5 extra races. Saying that, Rockstar do have good form form this. Ballad of Gay Tony / Lost & Damned on GTA4 were both excellent and the Red Dead add-ons were pretty good. I wasn't a fan of the zombie one, but it was still a good game all the same.P-Jay said:

If you really are at a loss what else there is to do, get hold of a copy of the Brady Guide. That will show you all the Friends and Freaks missions and all the collectibles. The UFO sighting (as shown on the mountain map) is a 100% completion Easter Egg, and the moon buggy is the prize for collecting the spaceship parts.I also thought it was a bit of a pain that you essentially go from broke to $150m (or even more) pretty much after the game has ended, but once you do you don't feel like there's much to spunk your money on, a tank, a jet are great for a 5 min laugh, but actually pretty useless, endless opportunities to mod up cars, but not really enough room to store them.

The Guide really does make the game last longer.
Any curious person could easily download it.
