Back in the day, I had a lot of time for DID's EF2000 and Typhoon games. Well, spent a lot of time on them.

Is there anything like that out there today?

I don't think I could put up with the visuals today. My rose tinted specs ain't that red.

DCS A10 or Lock On: Modern Air Combat? Although LOMAC is a tad old, DCS is supposed to be very realistic and immersive.

EF2000 TATCOM was the daddy, the follow up wasn't as good. Nothing beats bringing an aircraft down with Mavrick IR missle.

I have DCS, but find it quite bland in comparision with EF2000.

Thanks for that Mike. I have never heard of it but those screen shoots look impressive indeed!

Probably find the laptop won't be up to that. A new tower might be worth looking into.

I'm glad I wasn't on my own. Flight wise, for me, everything has been an anti-climax ever since. I'm going to give DCS a go though.

Me too, I got more enjoyment from EF2000 than I did from the Falcon series, Jetfighter II and the like. Top trumps still go to the original 'Tornado' game though!
