I have only seen one for the 360 and it was like a safari stalking type, killing big game etc etc. Didn't buy it, was expensive and looked crap

Hang on, he asked for a zombie game that was recent and brilliant. You gave him a link to a wildlife shooting game that's two years old and rubbish.

I suspect he's saving his thanks for someone who actually fulfils his request wink

I'm not sure such a game exists. Not on current gen consoles anyway.

List of light gun games. (I'm pretty sure Halo reach is wrong but the rest check out,) And they all look awful.

I think this is the closest you're gonna get.

I have it on the PS3 but I must warn you - they are nowhere near as accurate as the old light guns that worked with CRT TV's.

That's just a fancy holder for a move controller. Not a light gun, (at least in the sense the op is talking about.)

Well as far as I know, there is no light gun technology compatible with current LCD/Plasma technology, so this is the closest you can actually get.

Hence my saying this is the closest you're gonna get!

Nah nah, I answered his question by saying I have only seen one, and I quite like my games and would say I have a decent knowledge of them, and I was correct the game I posted a link to is the only light-gun game for the 360.

This is input and he said any would be appreciated, so going by his own statement a thanks would have been nice.

Ah, i thought the "as close are you are going to get" was referring to the game not the "gun" but yes you are quite right.

These work with LCD etc. Finding a game to use with them may be the main issue...

You still have to mount a bar above the TV a-la Wii, so still not strictly a light gin of the good old house of the dead days on the original X-box.

I spent ages looking into this a little while back as I absolutely love the old light gun games but it seems there's no really accurate technology available.

Even after calibration, the crosshair seems to float away from where you're pointing it the further away from the center of the screen you get.

Shame, as playing house of the dead on a 46" TV in the dark with an accurate light gun would be amazing!
