PS4 launch day - who's getting it?

I'm rather excited now.. Anyone else getting on release date?

Me, from Amazon. Need to decide what games I want seeing as the 2 that I was planning on have now slipped their release dates (Watch Dogs and Driveclub). Will probably end up with Battlefield 4 and maybe Killzone

I've been toying with getting the camera, but not sure it'll get much use...

Just hope that once the PS4 is out Rockstar announce GTA V for it. It's looking doubtful but I still need my GTA fix online and don't really want the PS3 set up alongside it

I've always had xboxes but the Ps4 looks loads better this time compared to the Xbone so I will be getting mine on launch.

same same for me I'll only be using it for BF4 anyway. I'll be keeping my xbox for forza and gta 5 when the mood takes me.

Ive got two ordered one from Game and the other from Amazon so hopefully one of them arrives on the release date but been let down by both companies in the past..

One will then be sold to the highest bidder.

I ordered well after the everywhere has sold out announcement in September, just had amazon email a few days ago saying release day ps4, suspect a lot of pre orders have been cancelled as games have been delayed, just a case now of if there is a shortage and good money made on ebay or not.

I must be a rare breed, an Xbox fan boy who had a Ps1, Ps2 and isn't getting a XBox One. I'm a bit old to be a fanboy aka left school. If something is better I will jump ships.

Yup!Im getting one! Cannot wait, got a bundle with Killzone and have BF4 ordered - hopefully Amazon will send the orders together and Ill get both.

Im only getting Killzone as everybody says it looks spectacular.

Local independent game shop down town says they should have decent stock of Games and Accessories, so will give them the business for these bits as they get so screwed over with Consoles on release.

Most Xbox v ps3 threads I go into you're always siding with the Xbox princess.

Love the fact that you've gone through my past posts to find a previous post of mine. I'm happy that I was worth the effort, and I've not denying being that of what could be described as an fanboy as I already have stated I've always had xboxes in the past.

Yep getting mine from game with ac4 and bf4. They have always delivered to me a day early when pre-ordering so here's hoping

I'm in. Amazon are sending me one with Killzone, BF4 and AC4. I'll also be downloading Resogun very shortly after it is plugged in.

I may be showing my age by asking this but I just don't see that much of a difference between the new generation and the previous. Nothing as noticeable as the PS2 Vs PS3 was anyway. Am I missing something?

I'm getting one too (Killzone pack) and really looking forward to it. Gonna miss Forza on Xbox but the price and fact PS4 is more powerful means I'll go with that. Just seen the latest video of Drive Club and it's looking great: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RYo3Bs75NVc

Project Cars looks like it's coming to PS4 next year so that should be great for a proper racing simulator fix (presume Gran Turismo 7 won't be out for at least 2 years, and find that series got very stale).
