So I've decided to buy a G27 wheel and pedals. The problem is I'd ideally like to buy from a shop rather than online. But I don't know where to start everywhere just seems to sell cheap wheels in store.

I'm in Hampshire but willing to travel an hour past the borders if anyone knows of a suitable shop.

I've bought both a G25 and a G27, however both were from PC World. Although they would normally be the last people i'd endorse, I got both wheels surprisignly cheaply (G25 £130 brand new in 2008, G27 £150 brand new 12 months ago)

I'd love a G27 wheel, it does look so cool to have a clutch pedal and proper shifting. I've just obtained a logitec Driving Force GT wheel off eBay, 2nd hand though but will be good to start me off. Getting a proper stand for it too in january so I don't have a table to mount it.

It's listed on the PC World website. But says out of stock for delivery and in store collection. Will give them a try in the morning.

Argos, game, john Lewis, PC world all checked today and nothing except a cheap thrustmaster Ferrari wheel frown I remember when you used to walk in to a computer shop and be swamped with stuff like this. And now I want one.... Nothing

Why shop-only? I got mine from Dabs.com (£150 I think?) last year, delivered next day.

Discontinued on there. Just prefer shops. Guess I need to find an online retailer

Mine (fanatec) appeared by UPS this morning after ordering on Sunday... Not allowed to have it until Christmas Day. Mrs Mighty has most definitely put her foot down there!

Havind had both, I miss the G25. The gear shifter is much better on the G25 as it has two modes, one of which allows sequential gear changes.
