Looking at this briefly,I wonder if it is any good. I like the look of rFactor 1,as 2 seems to be mostly high powered GT types,and I prefer the older/slower cars, and it seems to have a gazillion mods & tracks(so I can d/l loads & then never use them,just like in FSX )
So,is it worth the %25? Seems a bit steep for an old game but I imagine it has longevity. Is it online/multiplayer only? Can I use an XBox360 controller? Basically,should I get it?

Loads and loads and loads of tracks and cars that there is really something for everyone. Only big differences between RF1 and RF2 is a more advanced tyre grip model and weather in RF2.

Some tracks are very good and detailed, some not so, same with car mods but there are plenty of really good ones.

It's offline free practice or AI race weekends with qualifying and practice sessions, AI numbers as many as you want/can support or online multi-player.


Ps. You really need a wheel/pedals, you can use a controller but you really need a wheel. Did I say you need a wheel, if not you do. It is so much better.

Get it. great leagues out there for it depending how extreme you want to go. Bunch of us are doing a WEC league full distance endurance races including full 24 hour race at le man. love it.

rFactor 1 and the Enduroracers mod (Le Mans cars) is a perfect match.
