GTA V Modding/hacking (ps3) anyone ?
Discussion
I've bought all my ps3 games so not trying to do something illegal, but have been reading up on jailbreaking the PS3, using eboot etc, so customise games, or mainly customise GTA V.
I've seen the youtube video's of people having fun with the police deactivated and god mode on, and i'd like to do the same (in singleplayer mode, not online).
I've managed to get this savegame editor working, giving me loads of money and godmode, which is a laugh, but i'd still like to create havoc with the police on my back every 2 seconds, or taking one of those military planes, without the army blowing it up.
Anyone here experience with all this CFW, OFW, Eboot, mods and other abbreviations that mean nothing to me ?

Hacking is for
s.
Just play the game how it is meant to be played.
I bought the game, so i should be allowed to play the game how i want to play it.

I've not done any missions yet, i just like to drive around and cause some havoc and create fun pursuits (chasing big trucks/busses whilst shooting out their tyres) without being chased by the police.

At some point, through hacking you will do something that either gives you an unfair advantage over legitimate players or griefs them in some way or another.
It ruins online gaming, some of my favourite online games are now unplayable due to hackers.
Use cheats offline, that's what they're there for.

It would be a bit easier to just use the cheat codes, surely?

Already tried most of them, and some of them are worth a try for a laugh. Unfortunately there's no "no police" cheat code, just a lower wanted level, which doesn't work at the airports either.http://www.gamefaqs.com/ps3/634490-grand-theft-aut...

I agree with you on that, i've tried online a few times, but it's already full of invincible players with unlimited weapons, so that has ruined the online bit, and isn't fair on others. It ruins online gaming, some of my favourite online games are now unplayable due to hackers.

However like i said in my openings post, i'm just playing the singleplayer mode which is what i'm enjoyed the most at the moment, just want to enjoy it even more without the police.
Just got the game for Xmas. I've not previously played the series. Only played 3 missions but I love to explore the map. So far I've been to the top of the mountain, driven around the Island, been around the west coast on a jet ski, explored some of the interior on a motor-x bike. I've only once stumbled on a plane on the desert airport ( managed to accidentally jump out it by pressing the wrong button in my excitement of flying :-) doh).
Is there an easy way to find a flying machine to explore the island further from the air ? I tried to break into the Air Force base a couple of tins and get wasted in seconds !

Go to the airport in the city area, you should see the two runways at the bottom of your map Is there an easy way to find a flying machine to explore the island further from the air ? I tried to break into the Air Force base a couple of tins and get wasted in seconds !
. You should find a couple of planes or helicopters there although you will get 4 stars which is annoying. Alternatively, check on top of hospitals. Helicopters sometimes spawn on top of them, and you can get up by using the ladder you should see on the side of the building.

Easiest way is head to the airfield near the large lake and satellite dishes, normally at least one plane and a helicopter thereIs there an easy way to find a flying machine to explore the island further from the air ? I hope R* can sort all this hacking s
t out soon, they've given up on Read Dead Redemption. When you're playing a land grab and some s
t is shooting horse carriages at you, it sort of takes the shine off things.
They've fixed the tuneables thing by adding a little authentication, this has been done without an update. Its probably not infallible as it is but I reckon they may well introduce SSL to the server connections in a future update, which will put a stop to it for good (unless someone can steal the R* certificate from the inside).

They've also announced that any illegitimate monies held in accounts will be removed in a future update that they are currently working on.

How will they be able to tell the illegitimate money from the hard earned? In other words when this patch/update comes will I be left with anything at all as I had around half a mil that I aquired myself before the billions started being chucked around.
You can see your transaction history in the bank pages, I would also guess there is a history of missions/races/etc done and the earnings from each, so if money hasn't come from that it'll get zapped ?Until they do it, we don't know. What I have seen is people who have hacked money starting up numerous characters and buying a garage full of cars that they can later sell to recoup their money. Deleting cars bought with hacked cash might be difficult, so they'll either leave them or maybe just prevent any cars owned pre-update from being sold (they did this before with 1.08).

No, sorry. This is included in the T&Cs you would have agreed to when you connected your console to the internet, it's probably also in the small print in the book for the game. Also, you sound like you have ADHD if you have not even attempted to play the game properly and you already want to hack it. Why not just play it properly?
