Finally a 1440p 120Hz monitor with the added bonus of G-Sync as well. Hopefully this will have other manufacturers releasing similar displays now (because the price is on the steep side).

Wow those specs looks insane but so is the price! $799, what's the betting that becomes £799 when it gets over to the UK?

Also is that resolution really useful or even playable on ultra setting on games or is it more used for high end design studio stuff? I would have thought even a top end graphics card would struggle running something like Crysis 3 at that resolution?

A GTX780 Ti will run Battlefield 4 on Ultra at ~ 60fps at this res, Crysis 3 on High Quality ~ 50fps, so you do need pretty beefy hardware at 1440p.
