It's cheap on Steam just now - anyone played this? Worth buying?

I like shooters and the trailers look ok.

I wouldn't call it a shooter, more investigating stuff. Worth a go if its cheap enough.

I thought it was great fun, as said it's not a shooter though. You play a cop and investigate crimes; search crime scenes, follow up leads and question suspects etc.

Just bought it, now waiting to go home to fire Steam up and have a play. Should pretty much max the gfx out since it's an older game.

Done the 1st case, not very good at reading people yet. Everything is maxed out and looks nice. Shame I almost wanted an excuse for a new GFX card!

Looking forward to leaving work today to have a play.

It's a fantastic game, though if you're struggling with the action scenes, there's an option to skip them after you've failed one too many times.

Reading, piecing together clues and patrolling the streets of 50's LA is a great experience though.

Remember if you don't get all the clues and questions exactly right then you get the dull ending like I did... slowly going through trying to get 100% record is tough
