right might pick up a ps4 to go with my xbone. is everything in the box i take it ? how much is their version of live gold ? any must gets ? i have to get it from cex unfortunatly as i have a lot of trade in credit to use.

Years ago i'd have both consoles, can't see the point these days. Been considering a Wii U however seeing as they're selling for peanuts.

It's definitely a good idea to have both consoles, flexibility and exclusives being the key. I'm going to buy a PS4 too, but probably not until Bloodborne is a lot closer to release.

PS+ will set you back no more than £40 for 12 months although you do get a free trial in the box.

I think what he's getting at is the fairly crap battery life on the PS4 pads, so by having two you can hotswap them and put the dead one back on charge.

I'm going to get one come January sales, as the XB1, while a great system really falls flat with the games available, besides I want to play Killzone and last of us remastered

Have you seen the Gamescom announcements (for both consoles)? There is plenty coming over the next 2-3 months.

If you like Destiny then you get extra things on the PS4 version

I know the Xbox has Destiny/Halo 1-4 collection/sunset overdrive/Forza Horizon 2 all in the next month or so

I'd always buy on the Xbox over ps4 I much prefer it as a system. Didn't get one in the end. Gave all the credit to my brother so he can get a xbone too since he is too tight to buy his own

I've yet to see one game that performs as well on the xbone as it does on the PS4 though. I've got both and the PS4 would always be my first choice if there's a cross-platform release. The xbone pad is marginally better, but there's so little in it now since the DualShock 4 is such an improvement on the previous PS pads.

Tbh since there is so little between them quality wise that's why I prefer the one I just get on with it more I will get a ps4 at some point soon just got to sneek it past the mrs when I do

I have had an PS4 since Dec 24th, honestly its been st, no good games in many months

So yesterday I went and got an xbox one, I'm much happier with Forza, oh the PS4 is back in its box for now
