Playing XBOX games before offoical release?

A thought occurred to me as I got my e-mail telling me that Alien:Isolation shipped.

I should receive it either tomorrow or Monday, however the official release date isn't until Tuesday the 7th.

I was a bit worried about installing and playing it early, as I had heard tales a few years ago about Halo 4 having folk banned from MS live after playing an official copy but a day or 2 before official release?

Just wondered if anyone could clarify.

I think you'll be ok.
The reason that the Halo 4 people got banned IIRC was due to the game being leaked on Torrents and the people playing it had illegally downloaded it.

You'll be fine, I ended up having all of the CoDs weeks before they came out. (legal copies).

Completed story and played online, only people playing online were devs, game reviewers and other people who managed to get their hands on it.

Never had anything said, and its all pre 12 year old screaming kid.
