COD - Advanced Warfare - who's jumping ship from Ghosts

I just wanted to know if anyone here is going over to Advanced Warfare day one?

I'm a bit conflicted. I kind of like the idea of a more "3D" arena, with the addition of taller maps. However I fear (depending on the map) it being a bit snipe fest.

Anyone got any views? I know this will mostly be based on game play footage etc.

Or are the vast majority going to be giving the COD cash cow a miss?

Not too sure yet to be honest. I was a big MW3 fan and I'm also a big fan of Ghosts. I've pre-ordered it for my son for Christmas but he has a PS4 in his room and I'm too old to hang out in bedrooms. and I'm also a noob when trying to use the PS4 controller now they've switched the L and R buttons around.

I'm not even sure if they are releasing it on PS3 or not. If they do I might watch my son on it to get a feel. It seems a bit much paying for 2 versions of the same game. Mind I do tend to spend a good hour or two every night on Ghosts so I get my money's worth.

COD died when Jason West and Vince Zampella left IW. (2010 - MW 2 time).

I never really enjoyed modern warefare or modern warefare 2 but loved 3 and Ghosts. I also loved the original black ops but the worst by a long shot was black ops 2 for me. I loaded it up the other day as my ghosts disk is struggling to load now. I'm only level 42 on BO2 (not even prestiged). Gave up after 3 games.

I only joined around MW3 / Black Ops II time on PC.

MW3 I only played the campaign and survival but BO II I really got in to the MP side of things.

Ghosts was "OK" but I've grown to like it (initially it was a snipe fest) knowing the maps better always wins but, if I'm honest, it wasn't as fast paced as I'd liked (BO II was a bit headless chicken fest but fun with it).

Looking forward to seeing the reviews but I'm might as well just admit I'll end up getting it on PC and grinding the 1st day.
