FarCry - Wild Edition (PS3) ?
Discussion
Hi all
Has anyone got this bundle?
I have a voucher to spend which would make it ~£15 all in (PS3).
I have FC1 on PC, although not touched it for years.
Never played any of th sequels though.. are they any good? I recall 3 was meant to be very good?
Also, I don't know if it's a good port, or I should look to get the xbox 360 version instead?
TIA

To answer your question OP I would have said it's 50/50 between the 360 or PS3; I only ever played it on the 360 and it was still a beautiful looking game.
If you haven't played FC2 or any of FC3 before, do be aware they are very different to the original Far Cry - it's much more explore and follow the story line/side quests at your own pace opposed to being a single-track shooter like the original. FC2 got blasted for being a bit too samey and it's stealth mechanic being atrocious but I still really enjoyed it. FC3 is far better although there is still quite a bit of repetition in the side quests.

Agree with Para above.
I'd probably forget FC2 and jump straight to 3, the storylines are independant anyway.
I played it on the 360 and found it excellent; I don't believe there is any difference between the two.
Gameplay wise; f
king awesome! Very open world, lots of random side missions to do and the main storyline is very good. As said, some of the side missions can get a little repetitive, but you don't have to do them.
Actually after talking about it, I fancy playing it again myself
