I spent hours upon hours on Tie Fighter and X-Wing and I'm so excited as I've never been able to get it working on my modern PCs!

You can play either versions, the old DOS graphics and with the 1998 'collectors ed' with the x-wing v Tie graphics engine But without the massive ballache of getting it tor un on modern 3d hardware.

Shall be added to basket come Friday, along with Kotor.

Purchased I still have the original tie fighter collectors cd, but this is less faff than mucking around with dosbox

Awesome. I spent many an hour playing X-Wing and TIE Fighter.

This was my joystick of choice at the time. Being able to configure the shields with a switch on the joystick was brilliant.

I remember picking Tie Fighter up a couple of years after it came out and just couldn't believe how vast it was. It just seemed to go on forever with so much variety, near enough wiped out my mid-teenage years along with Dark Force & Dune 2, played on my parents lowly PC!

I remember saving up around £1,000 of paper-round, birthday & Christmas money over several years to actually buy my first 'own' gaming PC (it took longer as I stretched to the massive 6gb hard drive, 512mb RAM and huge 17" monitor...)- just in time for the release of C&C Tiberium Sun Good memories!
