I guess a lot depends on what model Macbook as to what will run.

Download Steam which has a handful of Mac games so you can check out what's available from the stuff you like.

Civ 5 is good and the new Beyond Earth version has just come out. You may find previous versions of Civ on Steam if your laptop is an older model. Civ 4 was an excellent game. Easy to sink many hours in to it.

You can get Hearthstone from Blizzard for Mac too. That should run okay on most recent models. World of Warcraft runs on MBPs but it's not great, if you're in to MMOs.

I Bootcamped win7 on my late 2013 rMBP to play Skyrim for a while. That ran okay but you really have to drop the resolution down to 1440x900 for any decent framerate.

Same as you, 2013 rMBP. I've been playing Half Life 2 and CoD MW1 lately. Will get Steam downloaded.

Civ5 is seriously addictive and a great way to lose a dangerous amount of hours.

Perfect for work
