So I'm playing through The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition, for the first time (I've played COMI but not any others). Really nice when a game puts humour at the forefront.

Comedy films are such big business but it is rare to see a game with a working sense of humour. What games have we played that raise a chuckle?

The ones I recall are Curse of Monkey Island, Jak & Daxter (the third one especially) and Portal.

South park - stick of truth, its like a playable episode. Very funny and crude.

I can't think of another game that's made me laugh out loud like that.

Hidden in Plain sight. The humour is not in the writing, it's in the playing. Requires a few people in the same room and some booze. It's hilarious.

Day of the Tentacle (I think it was called) seemed pretty funny at the time - as did Monkey Island (and the follow ups).

yes, hilariously so.
Borderlands 2 has a lot of clever funny touches. And childish things like "Butt Stalion".
