Xbox one surround sound headset

My sons birthday is coming up and i`m thinking of getting him a surround sound headset for the xbox one, the only problem is a lot of the sets i have seen say they are surround sound for the xbox one then when i look into it further they are not actually surround sound unless you buy additional software.
Can anyone recommend or is there any xbox one headsets up to £200 where everything you need comes in one box to make it surround sound. thanks in advance guys.

I have a Turtle Beach set for my Xbox One and an Ear Force set for my PS4, both are great. I've been a long time fan of Turtle Beach in particular. I'd always recommend a wired headset though, then you don't run out of battery power at a critical moment.

Unless he absolutely has to have a surround headset then I'd get him a decent stereo set and give him the change.

I've got the turtle beach x41's and the new 500x stealth, and frankly the 'surround' is piss poor. It's simulated via software, not actual individual drivers in the headset. Neither are a patch on an average dedicated surround system.

The 500x and practical though. Rechargeable and completely wireless, doesn't even need a chat cable.
