Dragonball Xenoverse
Discussion
Don't know how many people will be interested in this but I just got Dragonball Xenoverse through the mail today and I'll be playing it tonight and leaving a quick review when I've had a couple of hours at it.
Just thought I would start the topic so I had somewhere to go back to when posting the review.

Hi folks, sorry it's been a while for me to report back on this game.
I will answer the one question I got first: It is not Budokai 3. It is similar in it's complexity to master, the biggest difference is that Xenoverse is difficult to begin with.
A constant need to re-target your foe and adjust your position along with a fast pace camera make this game challenging to get along with. However it isn't boring, I would usually have given up on a game like this if it weren't for the fact that I know that it will just take a bit more practice.
The story is a good bit cheesy and pretty predictable, however with the ability to mould your own character and a myriad of parallel quests to keep up with I'm sure it will be difficult to get truly bored.
I have a long way to go and I will admit it hasn't been easy, however considering that the market for DBZ stuff is dying off and obviously funding is also decreasing, this game gets a solid 7/10 from me.

I have never understood the appeal of DBZ. I remember watching the Frieza saga on tv as a kid, and they seemed to take entire episodes to charge some planet-destroying attack, with lots of "His power level has exceeded 9000" type dialogue.
Frieza did seem like a pretty cool bad guy though.

I've beaten the (very entertaining) story mode, and the Parallel Quests but am now going through them all again getting everything I missed. Which is a lot!
To be honest, Budokai 3 was, I felt, always overrated. Budokai Tenkaichi 3 was a better Dragon Ball game, and Xenoverse is a very solid foundation to build upon.

I think I read somewhere that fight took around 3 and a half hours all told in the T.V series!Frieza did seem like a pretty cool bad guy though.
