Well, I've busted my wrist in a motorbike crash, so although I'm off work and basically ok, the cast over my fingers means I can't have one long World of Tanks fest as I'd like... frownwink

Any recommendations for one-handed, probably mouse-only, games with a bit of depth and interest?

I have a game called Weird Worlds which I think won some award for being 100% played with the mouse and therefore very accessible, but I've played that loads over the years already. I've also got FTL in a similar vein... think that needs keyboard but isn't too fast to cope with.

I usually like FPSs, Wots, have been playing Batman recently too... I guess I'm after a few games to see me through a boring week or so - something with a bit more grown-up depth than flash games on Not Doppler.

Also, next weekend we're off on family break to Center Parcs, where I will be able to join in with approximately zip, so any decent grown-up android tablet games any one can recommend... again, single handed!

Thanks in advance folks smile

How about Star Wars: The Old Republic?
It's a Star Wars version of World of Warcraft, decent storyline, all voice acted so you can sit back and relax during the mission quests rather than having to read, it's free (kinda, you get a bunch of bonuses if you pay but at low level it's not a huge difference), and you can just about play one handed but frantic clicking may be needed in combat!

Probably quite a few RPG's with a gaming mouse. Super Hexagon is a very addictive twitch game that you can play one handed.

Thanks for the replies... I'd like some of you to notice the word "family" in "family holiday" wink

Super Hexagon looks far too fast/abstract for my taste; Ridiculous Fishing is going on the tablet smile

Games I've put on the PC:

Syndicate - currently free via Origin - I've paid for this game at least twice previously, once when it was new #cough# and still one of my all time favs. I'm hoping my memory's correct, and it's mostly mouse.

One Finger Death Punch - looks like fun even if I don't think I'll be good at it. £3.99 on Steam.

Civilisation 5, with approx. 1 billion dlc packs, £8.74 on steam for 8 more hours. I remember playing the original at work (via a batch file that "called" it, so when a customer appeared I could just save and exit and by the time I had to use the computer for them, the proper program was reloaded wink ), and Civ 5 gets a load of good mentions for those of us with reduced numbers of hands.

That little lot should keep me going for a bit. I am now bionic, BTW, with a bone wired together in my left hand. I'm so nearly Adam Jenson wink

Not cutting edge but ground breaking at the time, was at the birth of online gaming while I was at Uni, still enjoyable single player and multiplayer now IMO.

Peggle and Peggle Nights should keep you occupied for a while.

How about point + click games like Monkey Island?

FTL (faster than light) for the PC or tablet could be perfect for you, I've had hundreds of hours out of it and am still going strong.

Just thought I'd mention how ace the N64 controller was, you could play loads of games 1 handed with that thing.

That's interesting. Can you get Red Alert 2 too?

AFAIK Not yet.

(I always preferred the simplicity of the original)

Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty is stupidly cheap now. Great game for a PC though, actually... it's 2 games in one as it features a top scrolling spaceship shooter as a mini game.

The Expansion Heart of the Swarm is great too.

Recently mentioned on here was Motorsport Manager, would fit the bill for your tablet needs.

Great shout for Syndicate. Tried baldurs gate 2?
