How do I save the game on Far Cry 4?

It keeps resetting back to the start after the truck crashes and you get the radio. I can't find an option to save anywhere! Gone through checkpoints and it makes no difference?

The game autosaves - when you say it keeps resetting back to the start, do you mean you start in the same place every time you start the game? That would be normal - you can't save your current location as a save, but you'll start the game from the last outpost you visited, with everything you had gun/ammo-wise when you stopped playing, and all missions/objectives that are complete still completed.
