What is your preference on XBO and PS4. Digital games or disk based.

All my XBO games are digital but after buying Project Cars and releasing it is pants I am stuck with it. If I had a disk at least I could sell on.

So what is your preference and why?

I have only Forza 5 and Horizon 2 as a Digital game, the rest of my games are on disk, it's better to have it on disk, as you can just sell them when you're bored, the only problem I have now is that I have used 98.7% of my storage space on the Xbox One...

I've got more installed games on my PS4, but it has only used 72% of space, so I don't understand how that works...

I bought a 2tb HDD for the xbox so have around 80% left.

Do you know if all games will be released digitally? WRC 5 comes out in October so can pre order from amazon but no where to be seen on the XBO store.

I think I will do that,

How easy are they to swap over the data?

I would of thought every game could be a digital download, as isn't the idea of downloads to cut down on disks ?

Mine is USB 3 so no fiddling internally. Plug it in and it will format and then go to manage game and click move.

I've found that the digital downloads are just as or even more expensive than the disc version. At least you have added value with having the disc and can trade them in against new games. I'll only buy a digital copy if it is plenty cheaper and that just isn't the case. All of my XB1 games are disc.

It's easier to plug something in than take a console apart wink

All my Xbone games are digital, as I'll happily pay an extra tenner to not have to go into town to buy a game, or get off the sofa to change discs when I want to play a different game. Pure laziness, I know!

All my games are Disc.

I know it is almost impossible but I just imagine one day the PSN would get hacked and all my games would be removed and I would not get them back.

Plus I like to lend games to mates etc

I don't pay VAT so I tend to wait until amazon sell the Xbox cards at a discount like now a £25 card is £23.86 but less the VAT I get it for £19.88. So £39.76 roughly for a £49.99 digital download where as the new WRC game I can have for £39.04 from Amazon so not too much difference.
