Project Cars engine covers

Hey guys,

Just a quickie....I keep seeing images of cars in Project Cars with their engine covers removed (like the attached if my iPhone has played ball)

I remember seeing it in some user made videos during the run up to the games release as well. Does anyone know if this is actually a feature??

It's possible it was but it disappeared, just like the pit crews did...

It's worth mentioning im on PS4 by the way.

You cant manually remove the covers as far as I know but if you crash hard enough it'll come off! I spent ages the other day peering under the skin of My Audi R8 LMP after crashing. The detail is amazing!

And all the suspension rods move, springs compress its awsome.

Would this only happen when it knows it is visible though or do they still all move when hidden, that is the question!
