Having had a recent session on this game on my PS4 ruined by some w***er playing heavy rock and Queen music over his audio channel during play; is there any way to Mute All in the game's chat channel settings? In COD you can do it and I can screen abuse and non-game audio but cannot find the same setting in BF4 or BH?

Any help appreciated thumbup

That's what I feared the solution would be.

I thought it was a load of crap. A shame as the beta seemed quite good.

I downloaded the beta and paid the £45 when it came out, and I must say it just isn't as playable as BF4 I think. How do you guys find it?
It is at least different. A few different guns etc to play with and new game types and a few new things to unlock.

I should also add that many more people actually try for the objective in this than BF4. So where I would normally be completely alone in a team of 32 in attacking (31 players on a ridge/hiding in buildings with sniper rifles) in Hardline maybe 2-3 others will also attack, so I am only hopelessly outnumbered when attacking, far better than BF4 where I can't even get out of my own base.....

I do enjoy Hardline, its fun. At first the lack of weapons was a downer but you only use 1-4 guns for any situation anyway! I also like the Hacker but unfortunately not available on a tablet! Booooo

Yes there are guns you can unlock on assignments i think but i've never bothered looking, i have my prefered guns and i TRY to stick to them until i start dying a lot and blame the gun so try another gun but then i do ok but think i can do better with the old gun which i prefer to use...its an endless circle! hehe

I dont even really bother using the vehicles, although i have sorted the controls out for the heli's now so i can fly more than 4 feet before rolling it over on its side

There used to be to distinct game types, COD and BF3/4 which attracted different players and tactics. BF3/4 was more tactical and a slower paced game and COD was a run-around shoot-anything-that-moved style.

However I think BFH has blurred that line and has become more of a gun-n-run and so is annoying BF traditionalists.

I am constantly frustrated by Bf3/4/Hardline matches for various reasons relating to the games' mechanics. COD is easier to pick up and play and feels like it's designed to keep the action going. The BF games have unnecessary delays and interruptions that annoy and slow my games down in a negative way. The interfaces for weapon upgrades/abilities etc., are complicated and confusing to use and buried in a myriad of menus and sub-menus.

By comparison COD upgrade menus have always been clear and intuitive.

The graphics and SFX are of the highest standard in each but gameplay remains tougher for me in the BF series and definitely more frustrating for common mechanics employed in each of the series to date.
