Amazing how little traction this game is getting on here considering it combines CARS and FOOTBALL. If you are not playing it already on Steam or PS4 then download it now! It was free last week on PSN but now is still only 3 quid. It is the most fun i have had with a videogame in a bloody long time

It is a great wee game, so simple yet so fun.

Its really fun but as fun as it is, it only kept me entertained for a week. I should really give it another go.

Saying that I also paid £6.50 odd for Goat simulator on PS4 smile. That kept me entertained for about 2 hours lol.

It's pure videogame entertainment as it used to be. No unlocks, no boosts. You are only as good as your own skills. I'm amazed we don't have a PH league already.

Don't worry, we're all playing it! It is great fun and very easy to just 'pick up and play' - makes a refreshing change after a year of the Destiny grind!

An immensely refreshing return to the days when videogames were about fun and skill rather than grinding and cutscenes imho

It's one of those games that can be picked up and played having not played it for ages and also is one that is a 'just one more game' game. Addictive in large doses.

Yeah, I found that. Goat Simulator is good for a bit but it soon wears off. Mind you, I find that with a lot of games.

I love playing ranked 2v2/3v3s but the ammount of Toxicity I've seen is crazy. People forfeiting and rage quitting left, right and aerial.

This is all since the Ranking Reset.

Yeah, i've noticed a fair bit of quitting in ranked games. Do they not count as a loss and scrub off the standard number of points? It's chuffing annoying as i've been left playing 2v3 on a few occasions as there's no matchmaking within ranked matches, unlike the non-ranked matches. Also does anyone know how many points you need to get out of the bottom league? Not that i'm that fussed as i'm pretty rubbish, but i got up to 85 at one point and thought i might be getting close. Still, I won't be doing this anytime soon:

LOVE Rocket League, it's great fun and very addictive. Reminds me of games of old, where it's really just you, your skill and the controller. No gimmicks.

iirc when people 'rage quit' they are banned from playing matchmaking for 15 mins but that's it. I don't think they lose any points. See here: http://www.shacknews.com/article/90614/rocket-leag... It can be very annoying. I still play on regardless of the score, I've been in a game where we've come back from 4-1 down with a little over 30 seconds left!

Seems a fairly mild penalty for screwing others over and clearly isn't putting people off enough. I thought with other games like FIFA, rage quitting counts as a loss? Which would be a bummer if you get disconnected for whatever reason and lose without intending to quit, but i'm sure that happens a lot less than rage quitting.

I completely agree though that the pick-up-and-play side of it is excellent. No grinding needed, so you can be just as effective on day 1 as someone who has been playing for ages, your own skill aside.

Playing in 2s and one of our opponents quit raging at his team-mate on the way out. I proceeded to sit inside our goal and just comentate. Told the guy that his quitter was an ahole and he was playing better without him. was a close game 1v1, ended up at a 4-1 when the quit happened to 6-4. 20s before the end of the game I get disconnected for being Idle, even though I was still commentating. Counted as a loss frown

Played this years ago on PS3 when it was SARPBC (Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars).

Playing it again now and it's great fun!
