Quite fancy Fifa 16 after having grown quite fond of 15 on our work console (ps3).

Is it likely that I will be able to walk into a shop and buy the PS4/F16 bundle on release day or is it still impossible to get hold of new releases near launch?

Shops usually get in 5 or so for 'free sale'. For walk-in customers with no preorders. They go VERY quick, get to the front of the queue at midnight launch. All the rest are for preorder customers.

I'm talking about the console bundle though, which presumably is a different thing altogether as its sealed in the box with the unit..?

It is indeed.

You'll be able to either buy the Fifa bundle, where there is a digital download code and a console in a Fifa branded box OR you could get a standard console and buy a copy of Fifa.

They'll have around 5 'free sale' bundle consoles, and around 25 'free sale' standard edition games. Don't know how many standard consoles they'll have though, varies by store. They usually sell out though, as people tend to do the second option if they can't get a bundle. The store I know ARENT allowed to sell a standard console and a disc copy of Fifa together at bundle price.

Why even pre order Fifa.. it's not like it sells out confused

For the last couple years its been very easy to walk into Game or Gamestation and pick up a copy of the game on the day its released.

That is why I asked, I don't know these things!

I'll give that a go tomorrow, or maybe the weekend.

Or buy the console & download it from the play store? See CDkeys.com for cheaper versions. I just renewed my xbox gold through it for £20 instead of the £39.99 microsoft wanted...

I think that the charge is little bit high for this game. It's really?
