Starcraft 2 Legacy of the Void

Suprised noones mentioned this as its been out a month or so.

From a game I played back in 1998 on my first PC to 17 years later and the story has finally been wrapped up nicely, even had a "dusty room" moment at the final cutscene. What an amazing storyline begging to be turned into a film, although they'd struggle to get everything into a couple of hours.

So, what now...

I've followed this series all the way up to SC2-Heart of the Swarm but for some reason LotV hasn't really grabbed me as I always found the Protoss faction a bit boring. I will probably pick it up eventually but have too much other stuff to play at the moment.

I am really looking forward to the expansion after this one though as it's going to be based around the Nova Covert Ops character which I think will be brill.

I had no idea this was even out, last time I remember looking Heart of the Swarm was still a few weeks away from release!

Loved the original Starcraft way back when (I still have my original massive black cardboard box edition!) and played a ton of Starcraft 2 WOL.

Then I just kind of got wrapped up in other stuff and have somehow managed to completely miss Heart of the Swarm and Legacy of the Void. And in fairness I still can't stop playing Supreme Commander Forged Alliance when I need an RTS fix.

Could be next on the list though I reckon.
