maybe not current games, but what has been your biggest Thief of Time this year?

i bought an Xbone in March and I think 4 games have really impressed me;

Tomb raider -
Excellent graphics, storyline and experience in full. wife has bought me Rise for christmas

Forza Horizon 2,
Came with the Xbox, just epic in scale and variety. I can play for 10 minutes or 3 hours. the 950bhp vw camper is a hoot.

Far Cry 4,
I bought this 3 weeks ago for 20quid with all of the expansions, this game is epic. want to go hunting? sorted!, do some adventuring? sorted! coercing an elephant to rampage through an enemy camp while dropping molotovs on the baddies from a helicopter? sorted! so much fun.

Alien Isolation
i'm now waiting for my home cinema room to be finished before i continue playing. this game is terrifying! genuinely unnerving and almost uncomfortable to play for more than 45minutes.

so chaps, what are your views?

Destiny without a shadow of a doubt. Infact in 28 years of gaming I am not sure I've spent as much time on any games as I've enjoyed sinking in to this one.

For me, Dark Souls II on PS3. Would have continued playing it for quite a while more if the console hadn't died.

Having replaced it with a PS4, I've been generally disappointed this year - the games seem pretty average overall.

Despite the epic RPGs released this year, Isolation is my game of this current generation so far.

Now that one I can answer; new Hitman, Deus Ex and Mirror's Edge games out 2016. Firewatch looks interesting too.

Time for Dark Souls 2 on the Ps 4 then... I played it on Ps4, through twice so far.

I have bought it actually, since it was on offer from the PS store a couple of weeks ago. I did play it for 20 mins or so just to sort out the character etc. but I may leave it a while before playing through.

I'm a PC Gamer but without a doubt it's been Elite Dangerous; I reckon it'll comfortably see me playing it for at least another couple of years too. Racing in our little league on rFactor has come a close second though.
