National video arcade musuem

As its half term I took my lad there today

It's right in the middle of Nottingham, cost us a total of £15 to get in and we spent most of the day there.
It's full of, mainly, retro arcade and video games which are all free to play plus a few other things of interest in a similar vein.
I'd fully recommend it for "kids of all ages"

I heard of mixed reviews of that place when it first opened, it was a bit ropy with only a few machines.

I'm a fan of Andy Palmer who runs Arcade Club in Bury. It's the largest retro arcade in Europe and it's his own personal collection of over 200 machines, which he's opened to the public. All machines are on free-play and entry is £10. Bargain!

Ive been to the one in notts when it first opened, thought it was really good and plenty to play on considering the cost of entry.

Was interesting how easy the older games were to pick up and have fun with compared to a ps4 game they had where half way through the cgi intro i got bored and went back to play track and field.
