Why not? you know it's going to be great fun. That's one of the biggest aspect I found playing the beta was the fun blasting and using tactics or in my case popping my head out and dying while the rest kick ass Enjoyed the beta. Fun is not the issue - nor is having a good bunch of people to play the game with :-)DO IT
The issue is being able to devote 100+ hours to this game, let alone the 400-800 it will probably end up being. I can't/won't be able to keep up in the loot race, and the dark zone is going to be painful if you are under-geared (i.e. after about day 5 when all the big boys have gold weapons and armour).
I would love to do all of that - but I can't let myself :-(

was that impressed by the open beta, that i have pre-ordered the sleeper edition.
Irrotational - its not like anyone will be playing destiny when the division hits so you can put all your hours in to this... Plus, isn't the dark zone segregated in to certain rank sections, I.E a rank 7 cant just stroll in to a rank 8 zone? (you can join a higher level friend tho, IF YOUR STUPID and want to die a lot)
Its going to be a lot like destiny in the fact that not everyone will be on the same rank/gear tier. And that seems to work with the mixture of people we have on our friends lists.

Simo - I have missed your dulcet tones an awful lot....but...well...:-)
Wuddie - my point is that I never really had the time to play Destiny :-) I put a lot of other stuff on hold to do it. All 3 expansions (DB, HoW and TTK) felt like quite a mad scramble to level up and stay "on par" with the group so I stood a chance of being able to join in raid's etc.

I'm not sure you can join others, I tried joining purple a few times over the weekend, for a mismatched error to come up and separate us even though we went into the dark zone together!, could be a either A, pretty good - no coat tailors B, very lonely if you pick it up a couple of days/weeks after others.was that impressed by the open beta, that i have pre-ordered the sleeper edition.

I thought I had read that a lower level player could go into a higher zone in a group, but a higher player could not go into a lower zone.
The dark zone in the beta was split into two parts a level 1-7 and a level 8-9 (DZ1 and DZ2). But I seemed to be able to go into both bits at both types of levels...so I'm not sure how it was really working.
I can see a lot of the old Destiny crew congregating on this game - which would be very cool. I wonder if a certain slappa will make a re-appearance!?

What guns were people using in the end?
I ended up with a scoped marksman rifle, and a rare AK47 that had insane damage up close.
Seemed to be able to headshot (1 hit on lower mobs) everything from range, if anything got close, then the AK rips them to shreds. 1/4 a clip per hard enemy.
