Though you might like some pictures and a few vids of my Flight Sim ME109 cockpit build. So far I have made the cockpit structure which was the relatively easy bit. Now I have to recreate the controls and instruments. The cockpit is designed so that it can be dismantled when not in use.

Vids here.

Excellent. What sims are you flying? Keep meaning to put more time into my sim flying again. Used to fly nightly, il2 series, ROF, FSX etc.

Awesome, just needs some oily smells & smoke on start up, some battle scars & an old leather seat.

Looks great, but in this day and age of VR, would it not be just as immersive to use a Rift/Vive?

Thanks for the encouragement folks.

Steve_Evil one of the reasons I built this is as that well as being a petrolhead I'm also a vintage aircraft enthusiast. This scratches two particular itches.

That answers that one, certainly didn't want to detract from your work in any way, as it's superb. Just interested in your thoughts.
