FIFA Fans, where are you?

Funnily enough I've never seen a FIFA thread in this section despite it being one of the most popular franchises in the world. Is the PH gaming populous too high brow to indulge in this sort of thing? 
In between the usual FPS, Racing and RTS\Startegy games that I usually play, there is nothing I like more then switching on FIFA for a few quick games of footie online with some randoms or setting up a tournament with a group of FIFA playing friends I've played regularly with over the years....except now.
I picked up FIFA 16 about a 6 weeks ago and have to say I'm really struggling with it and I'm not the only one. My regular FIFA playing friends are also feeling the pain. At first I thought it was just having to get used to a new FIFA as usual but this is something else, I've been trying in vain to get to grips with it but it's just not gelling and even worse, I'm just not enjoying it. I'm not the best FIFA player in the world but after playing its various iterations for years I'm not too shabby either but this years versions just isn't working for me.
So before I give up totally and trade it in, are there any tips on the new one? I really want to like it as otherwise I won't have a footie game to play unless I switch to Pro Evo Soccer.

Play it almost every other lunchtime at work with the guys. The benefit to our games room.

Do you play FIFA 16? If so, any tips? Have to admit I've loved playing most of the previous one's but this latest one just isn't floating my boat.
