Rebuilding a Mincraft PC

Not sure if this should be in video games or computers, gadgets and stuff, but..

My 10 y/o plays minecraft, and being 10 has screwed up the laptop (windows 10) so want to do a clean install of windows 10 and reinstall minecraft.

As far as I can see, so long as she has her minecraft login details, I need to
a) Backup the %AppData%/Roaming/.minecraft directory
b) Blat the Laptop and reinstall windows 10 (I can do this in settings I believe)
c) Install minecraft using her credentials
d) overwrite the new %AppData%/Roaming/.minecraft directory with what I backed up in step 1.

Is this correct? Needless to say I don't want to do the above to find out I missed something I needed to do before I wiped the laptop

Sounds about right to me, just make sure you back up anything else on there you want to keep.
