Playstation or Xbox??
Discussion
I've got both, generally speaking they're basically the same IMO.
If I were to pick just one (ignoring the fact that I've been 100% xbox since I was a youth and all my friends have one) I'd choose the playstation. Mainly because if you buy a physical copy of a game you can whack it in and play, on the xbox you have to wait sometimes hours depending on the game before you can play.

If you've got friends that you want to play online with then go with whatever they have. Otherwise I guess it's down to personal preference/ taste.
It is this.Basically, which one do your friends have?
Failing that, well I have a PS4.. But are there any "console specific" games that you really want?
I've got both and the Xbox is an enormous waste of time.
The updates, UI, and games available are absolute crap. I use mine for Netflix quite often and even then it manages to f
k it up (sometimes asks to sync save game data, which obviously doesnt exist, and crashes the whole thing)
The controller is nice, though.

Just bought an X-Box One after a 2 ish year break from a 360, they seem to have come down in price, I guess due to the new version.
I'm not a gamer anorak so just went for the 500GB one; I went for the X-Box as I've always had them so I just stuck with what I know and I just prefer the range of games available.
