I'm getting this, looks like a lovely place to walk around, hopefully they will have a proper open world compared to Mafia 2. Also the story looks good for a change compared to some of the console games recent offerings. Just got to decide to get it on my PS4 and turn it on for the first time in months or see how my 970 copes before it's upgrade next year!

I've recently completed Mafia 2 as it was in the steam sale, it was pretty fun. The setting and story were amazing, although I didn't try and shoot women and children... will give it a go tonight.
As they've released the PC requirements and my gpu is enough I'll probably get this on PC to further neglect my PS4!

I liked Mafia and Mafia 2 so have been looking forward to the release of Mafia 3.
According to steam the preload should be starting anytime & can see a pc upgrade on the cards at some point.
Luckily the current pc is more than the minimum requirement but not by a lot so be interesting to see how it runs.

I'm quite abit over the recommended but my GPU is right on what they suggest, think maybe I should start looking at 1070's in the new year
Forza Horizon 3 has the tiniest slowdown under the heaviest of loads but then the PC version still has a raft of issues so not pinning it on the card just yet
Really looking forward to playing this, the trailers look good and I like the setting they have gone for, I'll be clicking the preload button tonight ready for tomorrow

2K speak..
"We know how important having options that best suit your PC’s performance capabilities are. The team has been hard at work ensuring that Mafia III’s performance is consistent across all platforms, and right now the game runs at a solid 30 frames-per-second. We are currently working on an update for PC that will give players the option to play Mafia III at higher framerates. We’ll share more details about the update, and when you can expect it to arrive, very soon. In the meantime, the team welcomes feedback and would like to hear from you about what performance adjustment options are important to you. We’re actively considering a number of additional post-launch improvements on PC that would give players more control over how they can tailor the game’s experience to suit their rig’s performance. It’s been an incredible journey developing Mafia III and we couldn’t be more excited to get the game in your hands and hear what you think! "
Or, in other words, this is a poor console port.

I didn't even launch it. I just asked for a refund.
They hid the 30 fps cap until release day
They hid something that the world over is pretty much an industry standard goal and has been for decades (60 fps +)
The magical incoming patch which seems to be possible to achieve after a few days, but not possible to have happened during all the deleopment time (?), makes no difference to me now.
They deliberately didn't mention one of the most important aspects of PC gaming over consoles (bearing in mind we were sold the last lot of consoles with promises of 60 fps), so I'll take my cash back and maybe try it later when it's in the sales and can actually run at a better frame rate than several of my PS1 games did back in the 90's.
