As the title says! Eminently achievable but sufficiently difficult to be a challenge (I hope). Lets see how we go tonight

Oh and car must of course be standard spec in arcade mode.....

I'll be giving that a go. May I suggest people post photo mode shots (if they can) of their most heroic moments

Lots of differnt spec'd cars* so perhaps list the exact details, especially the car wieght which tends to change the most between various models.

Perhaps list the details exactly to be sure.

Also don't forget to change the oil and clean it. The oil defiently makes a difference on the used cars but cleaning may not make any more difference than confidence!

Also with driving aids on or off, or is that up to the driver? I always switch them off, its not faster but makes for a better simulator in my opinion.

(*Not sure on the NSXs this time but I remember there were a few differnt ones with slight differences last time).

I think the rules should be:

- Stock car in arcade mode
- No power or weight mods
- No TCS or ASM
- Sport Medium tyres

How about we set a challenge for FF, 4WD and rear wheel drive too?

How about Integra Type-R, Evo VIII MR/ or Nur-spec Skyline and NSX Type-R.

Post your best in each?

I'm a bit bummed that they don't have the Puma 1.7 in there, I'd have liked to see how well it could do. Lupo GTi is fairly close in character and performance though.

Only a suggestion, I realised after I posted it that it was a bit jap heavy
How about a Focus RS and a Lacia Delta Integrale or Audi S4 then? I'm not sure what's available in arcade mode off the top of my head.

How about we try it in none-Jap cars!

The only Jap car I really have time for is the NSX

Now there speaks a man with impeccable taste. Well, in cars at least
As for the spec - "out of the box" in Arcade mode but switch off driver aids. Nothing else too it. Like the idea of ff / 4wd / fr / rr challenge.

How about....

FF: Mini Cooper S 8.48.5
4wd: Evo8 8.04.6
FR: Vanquish 7.53.4
RR: NSXR 7.55.8

I'm pleased with those times so far! Did a couple in the Lister to see what it was like - 7.08.1

We have to have the tank engined Jay Leno special in there too!

God knows what it drives like but a 30,000 CC engine has gotta be good fun!

Ok, just kidding, I know its not in arcade mode.

How about the RUF Yellowbird? Is it in arcade mode?
I've got a vid of one going mostly sideways around the 'ring and it looks like a right old handful and lots of fun!

I'm up for the NSX-R challenge! No driver aids and medium soft tyres?

The Yellow bird isn't available in Arcade mode by defult, but the BTR is, which looks similar and is PLENTY fast enough for the Ring

I'm having real problems taking fast corners (got the Driving Froce Pro), I keep loosing the back end, and not just the Ruf, but even the standard MGF and Mk1 MR2

But I have been using the 'Road' tyres + Manual & no driver aids) Only car I've managed to lap the Ring in without crashing into the barriers is the Honda S600

Exactly. Wonder how many laps I'll get done tonight - looks like another microwave meal for me (no time to waste)

I'm taking GT4 to my cousins tonight where we are going to tackle the NSX-R Challenge!

Some mixed with a bit of and a lot of with some thrown in for good measure!

I can't help feeling that Mr Trackdemon has a slight 'NSX' advantage!?! Oh well I like a challenge

Slightly off topic Trackdemon, but any Essex meets coming up soon?

7:56 with NSX-R in arcade, but that was just one lap while I popped home at lunchtime. Will have a proper go later.

oooo, good challenge! I shall be partaking!

Hang on, can I ask a question...is it on the time-trial mode so you do a one lap with standing start?
