They are out there but whats the point?

Waste of £30 buying the game to complete it quick.

I don't really understand why anyone would want them but I guess those that do the cheats aren't so interested in the driving dynamics. They just either want a go in "the best car" or they want to show off to friends having "completed" it.

Same for all games I suppose but its a bit like buying a book and then just reading the last 5 pages!

Can I also add that it would be nice if nobody posts them on this forum, as it's been done before and ruins it for the majority.

I hope I speak for most people...

I dont want to know them either, but what are the results of the cheats? ie

get a bumper car with micky mouse in
fix rain on/off
unlock extra tracks
access ghost car driver test times like mikka hakkinen?

they were along the lines of

- make all cars $1
- unlock all cars/tracks
- freeze timers

etc

WHy would you ever wanna freeze the timers? what would be the point in playing it?

It would be like playing tennis when the opponent is asleep, at home in bed!

(I'd probably still lose somehow!)

pretty dull stuff then, not any weird stuff.

PS, not cheats, but tips to make things a little easier;

On the main Gran Turismo Mode screen, press L1 to jump the cursor to Home,
press R1 to jump the cursor to the country of your vehicle's manufacturer.
When looking at your garage in Home, press START to bring up the vehicle settings screen.
When changing your vehicle's settings, press START to enlarge the Engine Power/Torque curve.
At the end of a series race, press START to skip the finish times and championship points screens.
During a replay, press L3 to fast-forward.

With the Driving Force Pro wheel, press any combination of the LEFT, RIGHT, and DOWN buttons on the D-pad to look in that direction while driving.

Not really a cheat, but do an oil change once in a while - it frees up a few extra horses, especially on old/second hand cars.

Is there a reason you bumped a two year old thread to quote someone and add nothing?
