Has anyone any idea why my G25 will have just stopped working on Windows 10? It was fine, then just... stopped.

The inputs still work but they're jumbled up. I'm guessing it's drivers. I've done a little research and apparently the 5.10 software is the one to have (rather than the latest, version 8 something) but that's made no difference.

If I plug it in I get two green lights (so Windows knows it's there) but the Logitech drivers don't recognise it. I dare say I can plug it into my PS3 and it'll work as it always has.

Really annoying.

Tried swapping between USB2.0 and USB3.0 ports?

Might be worth plugging it in, opening device manager, deleting the entries, disconnecting and reconnecting to 'force' a re-install.

Cant nail down what's the G25 in Device Manager. It's all USB this or USB that. I'll give it another go, tho.

Just gave up and went downstairs to watch Netflix on the Xbox and IT'S TIME TO UPDATE! One massive download + install time.

fk sake.

Remove all the drivers for it, unplug it. Reboot PC and plug it in, download the drivers and then try. My G27 did the same thing after a W10 update!

No joy. Windows can see it, recognises that it's a G25, but the drivers - the one recommended by Logitech - cant see it.

fk. Sake!

My G27 was being detected as a Driving Force Pro. Not sure if it'll work for G25 but worth a go?

The only way I got it sorted was this...

Go to devices and printers (just type it in after hitting start)
Right-click on the steering wheel device and select properties
The go 'hardware' on the tabs at the top
Now select the wheel and hit properties again
The click 'change settings'
Go to 'driver' on the tabs and click 'update driver' button
Now select 'browse my computer'
Then 'Let me pick devices'
Select 'USB input device' and click next
Wheel should calibrate and work

Done.

Seems to work with Dirt Rally just fine, but Project Cars still doesn't find the wheel. If I change the wheel presets to a G27 in the game - it finds the inputs (using the calibration tool) but doesn't work in the game (inputs are confused, FF is all over the place)

Cant be arsed with it any more tonight. Was hoping to get a few laps around the Ring on Project Cars before driving out there tomorrow.

fk. Sake (again)

I've had the same problem for a week or so - I should have checked for a solution here first!

I've got it working to a fashion now, however the FF is pretty non existent - I've just got a heavy wheel now, rather than being able to feel the point of over steer / no grip.

Windows update is driving me potty now - I seem to be either watching a screen count down, losing work as it reboots unexpectedly or wasting time fixing peripherals that no longer work.

If it carries on like this, the PC's days are numbered, as it's not worth wasting my couple of spare hours a week sorting the above out!!

The latest drivers don't support the G25 or the G27.

If you unplug the wheel from the USB, you'll have to re-install the old drivers every time you plug it back in.

How can this even be legal? Logitech have effectively remote killed a piece of hardware I've paid for?

Had the same problem after the Windows 10 anniversary update.

Uninstalled logitech drivers, restated machine, then reinstalled the 5.10 drivers.

After recallibrating the wheel it works fine.

Again, Project CARS was the main offender, other games worked fine.

If that's the case, it's a bit of a pain. I unplug each time I stop playing as the machine is used for work too...

I still don't think the wheel feels the same as it did before - not as precise and certainly 'deader'. The FF just feels like it's heavy now, rather than giving a feel of the tarmac. All drivers have been removed, re installed multiple times now.

Bah!

Just a heads up to anyone suffering the same issue; my wheel magically came back to life.

I'm guessing a Windows update has patched it? Because I didnt do nuttin with my Logitech drivers.
