Steep : anyone else watching this ?

Have just learnt about this game due in December. I'm usually not an early adopter of games, giving them 3 or 4 months at least before jumping in, but this one looks like it will make it to my Xmas list :-).

Thoughts ? It didn't get great reviews overall at 1st showing......with some of the game play at question.

Well, just had a go at the free Beta version released on PS4 over the weekend.

Not that great. Wingsuit flying is fun, but not 100% convinced about the rest of it yet.

Enjoyed the Beta think i would get bored quickly.

Not enough to fly around and do with the wingsuit.

Off piste doesnt seem too much of a challange and then you slow down too much as the slope loses gradient.

Cant work out the point of the parasail

I missed the beta but, watched a couple of stream recordings. Looks interesting but, not sure where the longevity would come from. It'll depend on the price I suppose, probably one of those games I'll pick up in the bargain bin in a few months time.
