When I was a kid I used to play a game on either the PS1 or PS2 (I think it was the PS1 but could be wrong) which was a kind of Japanese city building puzzle game.

Basically you fired tiles at a board and tried to get them to line up properly so they would make buildings then once you had conquered that piece of land you would move onto the next one.

I'm 95% sure it was set in Japan and you played as some kind of Japanese warrior although the game was pretty basic and you literally just were firing tiles or blocks to make a little city.

Does anyone remember the name of it i've been trying to find it for ages and it's driving me mental?

Im also trying.
Mine was a racing game set in london. You drove an old mini and the police all drove 1999 Astras and you would zip up and down the M25 against a New Beetle or something.

I managed to find out what my one was. Used to love it although I don't think it was all that popular.

WRONG! wink
Close, I did a bit of googling then went in to my cabin in the middle of the night.
Turns out it's this!
London Racer.

This, Toca Touring Car Championship (where I would endlessly race Lagunas and Primeras around snetterton with my son who was a toddler at the time) Colin McRae/V Rally (Seat Cordoba WRC for life!), the original Tekken (Jin!), Gran turismo ( Buying used cars wink ) were the highlights of my nineties and early noughties. After my son was born, the PS1 was passed down to him and while my wife was proud of his mental maths skills I was proud that he could set a quicker lap on Brands Hatch in TOcA than Yvan Muller and Jason Plato themselves hehe
