It constantly tells me it's unable to connect to the Rockstar servers. It's not my connection as far as I'm aware, Forza Horizon 3 works fine and Netflix performs flawlessly. It's rather annoying. Anyone else had this? I wouldn't of thought GTA V would be too taxing.

I had problems with GTA on playstation because I'd changed my DNS to run US Netflix.

Have you done anything like that?

I haven't done anything like that no. The only thing I can think of is that it just needs a faster connection than I have to play online, but honestly I thought FH3 would be more taxing, and that plays fine.

I always had issues. even tried buying it on Xbox 360, xbone and in the end PC to try and get round it.... Nothing worked.

In the end I moved house and got a better internet connection. Now it all works fine.

Are you on Virgin Media? Both myself and a mate could never get Forza and GTA to work online, some googling and setting changes on the router and it has been perfect ever since.

Same here, I get the message quite often. I 'think' exiting the game properly every time you're finished helps.

My connection is worse than yours (also BT) and it seems to work fine for me, albeit on PS4 not xbox, does take an age to initialise though!

Whenever I've had network issues on my end it normally sticks me in an online lobby on my own, or I'd manage to join a lobby with people in it and then they'd all leave.

I'd be looking at settings, no idea what ones though as I'm not home. Google and youtube for ideas i guess, have you never managed to get into an online lobby?

I take it that your nat is set to open?

I had problems when trying to play on my PS4. Since port forwarding it has worked fine for me. Its been awhile so I can't remember the website I used, but a quick search brings up: https://support.rockstargames.com/hc/en-us/article...

I had the same issue on the PS4.
Turned out my MTU setting was too high, it was 1500, changed it too 1492 and it worked a treated.

Not sure not how to do it on the xbox, on the PS4 I did a manual setup on the network connection.
