Playing UK Ghost Recon Wildlands on US PS4?

Hi. I will soon be moving to the USA for quite some time. Can I take my UK (disc) copy of Ghost Recon Wildlands with me, buy a US PS4 whilst I'm there, and continue my progress uninterrupted? I'm a PSN+ subscriber.

If my game won't work, can I buy a US copy, and continue playing using my saves from PSN+ on the US console?

Hang on, people still buy disks for console? Can you not purchase a digital copy through the PSN store?
