I know there are a lot of avid gamers on this forum so I thought I'd just ask if anybody is following E3, and if anyones excited for any of the games?

Shadow of War looks really good, this trailer doesn't reveal much but still looks decent: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zkC_K5XPlx0

Nothing of significance from Bethesda except they are trying to make people pay for mods (via their system) again, which went well the first time they tried that.

Skyrim on Switch stuck out at me - we've been looking at a Switch for a while but can't really justify the cost at the moment with the limited amount of games, having something like this may sway it.

Doom VFR

I've already got Doom 3 with the VR hack and despite the textures/models being from 2004, it's still very compelling and quite scary.

Need for Speed Payback, looks like they have really listened from the early stuff which I'm still suspicious of because it's EA but I don't mind hoping. Looks like they are trying to go back to the Most Wanted style of NFS which is good in my books. Open world/hidden cars/better customisation/storyline that doesn't try and plumb the depths that the last one did.

The crew two reveal trailer looks interesting, shame the original game which is very impressive for cars/idea/location let down by the unbelievable moron at Ubisoft who did the handling, I don't think that person has a driving licence as the physics were utterly appalling.

Days Gone, Assassins Creed Origin's and Far Cry 5 are going to sucker me in!

Cant get excited about anything at E3 as nothing they show is remotely representative of the end product.

The only trailer for a game I have seen that will reach the end gamer in a similar state to how its been shown is Wolfenstein, only because its more of the same with more polished graphics (but even those will probably be scaled back for the final release).

Far Cry 5 looks like it will be a lot of fun,

Skull and Bones looks very interesting as well - Ubisoft have done a very good job!

Didnt see anything yet from Rockstar though, was hoping for something Red Dead but didn't see anything yet

Also a brief piece on the Prequel to Life is Strange as well, based around Chloe https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lWNb9_NlD1I

Nobody quite does that like Ubisoft, they are always at it. I wonder how different Far Cry 5 will be when released.

The Zero Dawn DLC looks cool. I'm just hoping for more of the same with even bigger badder machines smile At least we know how it will look!

No point in looking at Ubisoft stuff until proper gameplay emerges close to release.

Anthem looks great but there's a lot of time and scope for it to be nothing like the gameplay they showed at E3...

So far... not much

Forza 7 is probably the one game so far that is a must buy for me, but that isnt anything new, we all knew FM7 was coming anyway.

Otherwise, the X1X kind of dissapoints me, the price is a bit on the high side for a console, especially considering there are 0 exclusive games for it, and i dont have a 4K tv anyway. Speaking of exclusive games.... MS is dropping the ball there, if they get the biggest rise out of the crowd with OG xbox BC, you know something is wrong..

Wolfenstein II kinda rubs me the wrong way, its taking the alternate history a bit too far for my taste, but on the upside, it shows bethesda is more then willing to sequelize the crap out of a well received single player game, so ive got my fingers crossed for Doom II
