(PC) What should I play next?

Having just finished a massive top-down RPG game, I need a little break

I'm thinking third person shooter / hack and slash in some kind of sandbox type world. Nothing too challenging.

The prototype and darksiders series are the type of thing i'm thinking of.

Warframe, whilst not open world (yet) it's currently mission based coop instances. Can be hard to get started as it kind of harks back to older games which don't hand hold for everything, decent introduction but then you are left to figure things out for yourself.

Free to play, a very good f2p model at that, everything including premium currency is available in game through time & effort.

Ah I should admit I'm looking for something offline. I have overwatch for my online / competitive needs.

Have a look at Shadow Warrior 1 & 2. Not exactly sandbox, but certainly brain out slashing fun
