PS4 PS Plus quick question...

Metal Gear Solid is "free" this month on PS Plus. Do I need to download it this month to get it for free, or can I "add to library" and download it in the future for free when I get round to playing it?
Not overly bothered either way - big unlimited broadband connection & plenty of room on the PS4, just not that fussed about playing it at the moment but wouldn't mind a go at some point.
