iPad city building/strategy game recommendations

I’ve made my way through many city building games - SimCity Buildit I was well in to then felt the game stalled. Others include Township, Megapolis, 2020, Supercity.

Others I’ve tried and not got on with - either because they were overly complex or there was too much reliance on spending real money (which I’m not averse to within sensible limits).

Any recommendations for something with longevity and slick gameplay?
