Goodness me, only 33. Poor bloke.

I hadn't watched much of his recent content however I was an avid watcher of his WTF Is...? series a few years' ago. I spent many hours watching the videos and learning about games I'd never play. laugh

It was well known that he was ill, but as he was posting right until the end it seems so sudden and out of nowhere

Tragic, he had such a professional but enthusiastic attitude.

Even sadder he did ignore his symptoms for some time, typical of tough it out blokeiness, we've all done it. Makes you think.

RIP.

Enjoy watching his stuff and listening to the podcasts. He knew it was coming and he was still trying to stream and make content to the end, shows that he really enjoyed and cared about what he did.

RIP

Very sad news. I knew TB from his early days on World of Warcraft radio, the streaming radio show he used to do. He treated gaming journalism with a huge amount of professionalism, and had a great radio voice. Whatever he did, he used to think about things before opening his mouth, a rare trait these days, and he always fought for what was right. My thoughts are very much with his family on both sides of the Atlantic, and with his close friends. The last few years must have been horrible for everyone.

John Bain, the Cynical Brit, you'll be hugely missed.

Enjoyed him a lot. Had a great presence and actually gave two sts about the industry as a consumer. Good lad and my best to his family.
