I loved F1 2010 and probably should have stopped at that particular instalment, but F1 2018 offers some interesting upgrades to the series ...

However upon starting free practice, I noticed two things; the cut scenes in the garage are a repeat of 2017 and the overall graphics look ‘downgraded’.

I thought it might just be me, but check out this 2017 vs 2018 comparison:

There is certainly less light/reflections/contrast in the environment. Play it on a big television and it all feels a bit washed out. Anyone else think similar?

I was thinking of getting it but after reading the reviews I did not bother.

It's supposed to look less contrasty...because that's how real life looks smile

They've gone for a universal haze/fog system. I think it looks more natural, if a bit less "dramatic".

Recently picked up 2017 for bargain price and I thoroughly enjoy it, so after this won't be keen to by the new one!
