Hi

I want to get a steering wheel and peddles for PS4 but would need something to secure them to.

Anyone got any good setups they can recommend?

Thanks

The Logitech wheels / pedals will bolt to a desk and it's a decent starting point to see whether you get the enjoyment out of it to merit investing further...

Then there are things like the Wheelstandpro as a next step up.

Then you get in to the full Playseat et al

Depends on budget, space, wife acceptance factor hehe

I bought a Playseat Challenge last month and would highly recommend it.

If you'd rather sit on the sofa, I had a wheelstand pro for years which was also very good and takes up far less room.

I refused to pay stupid money for a Playseat etc and made my own from an Ikea chair and an adjustable shelf. biggrin
Works really well for me.

Definitely does the job, but with a name like Composite Guru, you've perhaps set your sights a little low? hehe

I'd not mind something like that but want easy fold to tidy up. Found one for £200 so £400 all in with a decent wheel and peddles feels a bit pricey

A wheel is OK on a desk, or you can build your own seat if space/wife annoyance isnt a factor. Insidesimracing on YT have a video of one for <$100, plenty of others on there. looks pretty easy.

My better half got me a playseat a year ago, while it hasn't had as much use as it should it's a lovely thing to use when the chance occurs.

Coupled to a Logitech pedals, wheel and gear shift unit it's a nice set up.

I've got a small one. wink

Picked up one of these: https://amzn.to/2QYKzaP

The TV is on a small table and my feet are under the TV so the distance between the virtual wheel and my chest is at an appropriate distance for realism.

Curry's/PC World were doing the Logitech G29 with shifter for £200. They also do a playseat set up but you do sit very low.

https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/search-keywords/xx_x...

Check at the bottom of the screen for different types of seats.

Not really what you were asking and it's probably fairly apparent already, but just for clarity at this level your best bet is a Logitech wheel as far as price / performance / reliability / game support is concerned.

For PS4 compatibility you'll need a Logitech G29.

This will also work with the PC should you get really in to it and want something a little more 'sim' game wise.

When I had one for my PS3 i always used a chair and the ironing board, it worked really well, plus it was height adjustable...

I use playseat challenge and thrustmaster t300rs with the t3pa pedals and 599xx alcantara wheel.
No issues and good ffb feel.
Also folds up nice and neat if and when required

G29 and playseat challenge for me, works really well. I've promised myself a TGT if I ever get to A+ on GTS.
