After a one x now ive treated my self to a proper hdr set.

If you want to buy new then your best bet is to wait for Black Friday. It's rare to get much of a discount on consoles as there's no margin in them but they were doing £50 off Xboxes at Black Friday last year.

Otherwise CEX or Ebay.

I've been looking for months because my 4 year old original One was properly on the blink (Literally, it was flashing and making a very strange noise!) but seems to have fixed itself now

basically, it's not great on the deal front, £350 was the lowest I saw them last year during black Friday and pre-Christmas. I was hoping they'd release a new xbox this year and I could just splurge on that but they've put the intro date back to 2020 now so I might buy second hand for now and sell on once the new one is out

Rather than wait months for deals just spend the extra whatever and get one if you really want one. Unfortunately you can’t trade in bundle games anymore as they are usually digital downloads.

Keep your eye on HotukDeals and buy the best one.
If you dont want to wait for black friday, you are going to have to buy a bundle. Some of the games are hard copies and you can still sell codes.
I assume you plan on playing a game on it, so buy the bundle with the game you want and sell the rest. It really does work out a lot cheaper.
It is still a flagship console you wont be finding them dirt cheap, and I wouldn't touch a secondhand one for that kind of money.
