Does anyone have Rust?
I've recently started playing but as a solo and wondered if anyone else played it.

I did once. Built a little house, and next time I logged in I'd been killed and it was ruined.

Yeah I heard it could be like that.

Currently I am only playing on a community custom server, it is vanilla but a "noob friendly" server based in the UK - Seems nice so far, not had anything overly offensive happen and certainly no REEEEEE-kids.

My base is pretty well established there with plenty of food and water, so far have not had a single raid (I believe there are rules on this server where if you have a sign up asking not to be raided that you aren't)

Haven't ventured onto a "normal" server yet as I'm not really experienced enough yet!

Dependant on server (you seem to have lucked in) this can be one of the most toxic game communities around.

Packed it in after about 200 hrs as i couldn't find a server that wasn't full of goons.

I love Rust! Not played in maybe 6 months but I have hundreds of hours in it.

I have only played solo and gave up quite fast on building big bases quite fast. You only need somewhere to smelt ore, and you can generally do that in abandoned places.

I also ended up never logging out in a base as I was ending up dead 100% of the time. I found that finding out of the way places, even underwater, was way safer.

Yep have a fair few hours into it now, tried loads of servers till found the one I am in now, it is modded but reasonably modded, and you can play solo easy as a PVE player as opposed to a PVP, which is on same server.
It is good as there are more scientists and zombies, but you can also do all the monuments as well.

Our wipe is up on Thursday. We will move to new server. Will let you know details when we find which one.

Last time I played was on 2x server a good few months ago. Built quite a troll heavy base, with things like misleading signs, a totally empty honeycombed upper level, armoured doors with stone barricades behind them, got raided a few times but they never got anything meaningful.

I am now back on the hunt for a new server, one I have been using has finished and they wont be putting it back up due to lack of play

Yeah have just been dipping in and out of random servers trying to find something I like, last server was great
PVE and PVP
No decay
No fuel for helis
Spawn vehicles
No stupid 10x loot, so you had to work for it at least
Zombies and lots of scientists
No rad
No fuses
Trying to find something similar

I have a rust server that your all welcome to join. Its a PVE server and we dont tolerate idiots or any kind of nasty behaviour. We have players ranging from 16 to 70 years old and it is extremely friendly. Its got no decay, and a different map to usual, its Earth Apocolypse. Most of the players enjoy building, trading and doing the missions. Players are unable to kill other players or even damage other players structures. There are obviously scientists and the odd zombie to kill. The servers name is [EU] RG Rust Earth Apocolypse. Its in modded. Also its on a dedicated server with no lag 250 slots and UK based. We also have another PVE server with the run of the mill map, but that doesnt tend to get that busy.
